Detail
These jeans are made in Japan using organic cotton yarn certified by GOTS, the most well-known international certification body. They undergo meticulous hand processes (rubbing, blasting, over-dyeing) one by one.
By using a lower density for the weft threads than usual, the fabric appears tightly woven with less white space, while still maintaining a soft texture. The dyeing process, which is crucial in determining the denim's appearance, uses rope-dyeing indigo pure dye without any additives such as sulfur. As you wear and wash them repeatedly, they will fade to a beautiful blue, allowing you to enjoy the look of vintage denim. The processing expresses a natural fade, even while removing color to a lighter shade, and is finished to feel familiar from the first wear.

Design point
These are MARNO's first Made in Japan organic cotton denim jeans.
They were originally created from scratch in Okayama, a famous denim production area, over about a year. We repeatedly made adjustments, aiming for the look, color fading, and softness of vintage denim that has been loved for many years, and finally completed this confident creation. By adding a slightly relaxed line to the straight silhouette, it combines both a clean and casual look, making it easy to match with a wide range of items and a timeless design that can be worn for a long time. We also paid attention to details, such as the color stitching and the absence of a coin pocket, to create a stylish finish.
The original leather patch is in white, the image color of MARNO. Denim is an essential item in MARNO's wardrobe all year round. The soft and stress-free comfort makes it easy to wear frequently. We hope you will love these jeans until they become vintage.
