Rare Irish Belleek tea cup &saucer set features a beautiful lattice design w/ shillelagh handle & hand painted shamrocks. Lightly used then In curio cabinet for years. What an eye catcher for any collection or an awesome gift.
The mark indicates that it was made in County Fermanagh, 1926-1946;Ireland. Both pieces are hand painted with shamrocks, a lattice porcelain pattern &the interior of the cup has a luster glaze. The cup's handle is hand crafted like a shillelaugh. The cup is so thin it is translucent. The cup & saucer weigh 3.7 ozs, the cup stands 2 1/4" tall, &the saucer measures 5 1/8" at its widest point.(Appx). There is a lil hairline crack ( see photo) no chips or crazing visible. Price reflects imperfection. Holder not included in sale. A real Keeper.
