This antique glassware is a piece of EAPG from the O’Hara Glass Co. called “Lens & Star” or
“Star & Oval” 6.75” tall with a 3 5/8” rim diameter. Celery, 1887. The O’Hara Glass Co LTD which operated in Pittsburgh, PA 1875-1891.
Then joined the U. S. Glass Co. This design
Includes pressed geometric starbursts & distinctive oval (Lenses) around the rim, often
paired with floral etchings on the body. This pattern was introduced in 1887 during the
Victorian era. Based on its proportions & shape
this piece is probably for sugar (lid missing) or a
spooner (used to hold spoons on a table) or a
celery vase. It has a couple tiny flicks on the bottom of the bottom that can’t be seen until you turn it upside down. See pictures!!!!
