Vintage Salt Glaze Williamsburg Reproduction Small Handcrafted Stoneware Pottery Pitcher with Blue Accents. This humble but cute pitcher was made by "Salting the Kiln at a Factory on Route 60" in Lightfoot, Virginia. It is a reproduced example of 1750 Williamsburg Pottery. It is all hand-made and the design is hand carved before firing with a salt glaze. The finish of the glaze gives the pottery an orange-peel like texture, which is typical of this type of pottery. The blue color is captivating and made to be durable. It is in great condition. There is a little crack on the inside at the bottom of the pitcher towards the middle. I’m not sure if it was made that way but the pitcher doesn’t appear to have been used. It’s still functional, no leaks when filled, and still lovely as ever! APPROX: 4 7/8” tall. Photos are of the actual item being sold and are part of the description. Not responsible for shipping fees or taxes.
