This listing is for a great little wine-themed scarf by Vera. The “split wingtip” configuration of this scarf is not very common, and it does wear very well, offering several different ways of tying this scarf. The square scarf has a diagonal slit about ¾ through the material, making for a fuller /gathered body when the scarf is tied. The scarf has a modest print of two-tone blue speckled background combined with a single row of grapevines meandering through a pale blue/aqua border around the edges.
The scarf measures roughly 16 ½” sq. There is no tag on this particular scarf, but the one on another piece of the same configuration and pattern states : Scarves by Vera, 100% polyester, Made in Italy. My guess would be that it was made in the 1960s or 70s. The scarf is in good vintage condition.
