Vintage small dish made in USA. Its markings show that it is Shenandoah ware Paden city pottery.
This is a rare piece of history Initially the pottery made art ware and kitchenware in brown and white. In the 1920s Paden City Pottery began making high quality, semi-porcelain dinnerware. The pottery was a pioneer in the production of semi-porcelain and its use of state-of-the-art spraying equipment to apply popular colored glazes.
This rare piece has gold embellished accents and a soft pink , brown flower with green leaves glaze.
The overall color is ivory or cream not white. It’s in beautiful condition. With any vintage item there will be imperfections so please look at pictures closely and ask questions if needed.
Measurements are about 5 inches in diameter
