Vintage Baret Ware Chinoiserie Metal Tea Tin. Made in England no. 198. Hallmarked on bottom of tin. It features cranes and pagodas in gold against a rich red background.
These English tins were a very popular gift Midcentury as people loved to keep and reuse the lovely tins!
This piece is decorated with Asian style themes with a mountain, pagoda, trees and cranes. It has a decorated hinged lid that works perfectly.
It has evidence of light wear, but no dents or deep scratches. Really nice condition.
