This is a genuine, brand new, unused part.
The mounting portion often breaks, so I bought this as a spare, and it has been stored in a dehumidified storage.
I purchased this at the Nikon Shinjuku Service Center some time ago. They no longer sell it.
While compatible products are readily available, genuine new ones seem to be rare, and I haven't seen them on Yahoo Auctions recently.
For those who insist on genuine parts, please consider this.
