Vintage Mont Abur Mexican Hand Tooled Unique Leather Purse Mayan Aztec

This stunning Mexican leather purse crafted by Mont Abur artisans features gorgeous hand tooled designs depicting important aspects of Mexican culture.  On one side is the Mayan calendar surrounded by roses.  On the other side is a depiction of a seated Mayan character, possibly presenting an offering. The hand tooled leather is framed by hair on cowhide. The detail in the leather tooling is exquisite, please zoom in to see details.  This bag is really a work of art!
The purse is 12.5 inches wide,  9 inches tall, and 4.5 inches in depth.  
The purse body is in excellent condition, the thick leather feels almost new and hasn’t been broken in.  There is almost no scuffing or age-related wear.  The hair on cowhide is in excellent, like new condition, with no bald spots.  The bag has a zip closure. All stitching is intact and the zippers are in working order. There is one very scuff mark on the front of the purse and a small dent in the leather on the bottom, both visible in the pics.
