Vintage 1995 LouAnn Paul Native American Indian Crying Baby Doll. Approximately 20” in length. Very rare.
The doll has a porcelain head and porcelain hands, and a very heavy stuffed cloth bodice. Doll weighs approximately 3 lbs 9 oz.
The doll features black synthetic hair styled in pigtails with feather and bead accents, and closed eyes with long eyelashes, emphasizing its crying expression. The doll is dressed in a red, velvet-like sleeper outfit with central neck medallion, fringe details, and silver-colored and multicolor bead accents. The doll wears a beautiful beaded necklace as well. The doll is signed by L. Paul (LouAnn Paul) in 1995.
The doll is in gorgeous condition with only slight signs of use. There is one light mark on one cheek, no other marks or scratches. No chips or cracks. Feathers in hair are wispy and some have fallen out over time, however there are still a good amount that remain.
