This fragment of a Tyrannosaurus rex tooth is a cost-effective way to own a piece of T. Rex history. Discovered in Montana, it hails from the Hell Creek Formation, a region abundant in dinosaur fossils. Its identity as a T. Rex tooth is confirmed by the serrations, which served to slice meat efficiently, much like serrated steak knives. These massive, carnivorous dinosaurs roamed during the Late Cretaceous period, around 80.6 to 66 million years ago, with various species weighing at least 1 metric ton. Two primary species, Tyrannosaurus rex (T-rex) and Nanotyrannus, have been found in the Hell Creek Formation, with the latter's existence debated as it might represent juvenile T. Rex. The exact tooth shown, measuring 12 mm in length, is what you'll receive.
