The sliding arm securely engages with the serrated steel bar when pressure is applied via tightening of the screw. The spindle features Acme threads for a high load capacity and the heads are made from high carbon steel for strength. The swivel pad allows clamping of uneven pieces whilst the plastic covered heads help protect the workpiece. The dual composite handle allows comfortable application of pressure.
